Hi, welcome to BRL Guitarworks Inc., I'm Budd Royce Lam, the head guitar tech as well as pretty much everything else here in the meantime.
First off, a little about myself. I've been fixing guitars professionally for over a decade now and have been playing guitars for about a year less than the time I've been fixing them. Sounds odd, but it's true and it would probably explain why I'd rather take a new guitar apart than plugging it into an amp and shred away at it for hours. But enough about me, you'd probably rather hear about how I can be of use to you.
So "why" would you come to me to take care of your guitar? Simple. I can summarize everything to just two words "I care". Why?? Because it is also synonomous with terms like "honesty", "reliability" & "trustworthy". Simply put, unlike the other guys, I actually care and don't look at you as a bag of money with arms and legs attached. So knowing that, you can have some faith in entrusting me with your guitar and also not worry about having to spend money on products or services you don't really need.
Pricing: Price wise the cost of my products & services are generally quite competitive and very much in line with the market rates. By having the benefit of working out of my own house and also keeping this mostly as a side business, I can offer the majority of my services at a much higher level of quality service at the same price as the next guy.
